Just put your poem or short story in the comments section and hit post. You may not immediately see your post, but it is there under the "Comments" section. You may need to click on "Comments" to see your poem. It is there on another page.
You may need to have a Gmail account to post in the comments section. Most of you do have Gmail, but for those of you that don't it's extremely worthwhile to open up one now! That way you've got a chance to get your work out there in the world.

God is Tired
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult lately at our house
Everyone is sick or miserable
Or failing a grade
Or experiencing a nervous condition
It appears that God has stopped
Listening or answering our prayers
As they technically aren't even prayers
And even God I hear
Gets tired of the bullshit

ReplyDelete[There are times I realize that the Teacher in me is always watching out for opportunities to plant seeds, to make some small comment that will spur further thought in the listener or reader or viewer. This urge needs to be controlled carefully.]
You do what you can.
That, at least,
seems to be
a common thread,
a common talking point
(or in the cases of
Śūnyatā and Nirguna,
a common non-talking point)
among all the Gods I've talked to.
Lately, anyway.
